Print Please : Indigenous Indigo

The ever favourite Indigo blue dupatta is handwoven with a texture of missing yarn stripes. Hand block prints of indigenous tribal motifs and a matching border pattern make it look all the more cheerful.

Hand block printing has been one of the oldest forms of Textile ornamentation. Wooden blocks are intricately carved by hand. These blocks are then used to stamp-print the design on fabric. As a simple add on to the baragaon cotton sarees we have developed a range of printed sarees and dupattas with florals and abstracts.

Printed by a small hand block printing artist in Nagloi, Delhi. This collection has indeed been very special one. It’s comfortable, detailed and made with lots of love.
