Chikankari is a traditional embroidery from Lucknow, known for its delicate handwork on muslin using stitches like bakhia, muri, phanda, and phool-pati, and was once patronised by the Mughals. Our embroidery unit in Lucknow works with young women artisans, supporting fair practices while preserving the craft’s quality and finesse, while reimagining chikankari through a contemporary lens.
